You might ask yourself why we organize a festival in a country that’s about 800 km beeline from our hometown Vienna away.
We decided to choose Albania for some good reasons that we’ll explain to you in the following caption.
1. The absolutely stunning nature.
This country really has it all. If you are one of those persons that can’t decide if you love the sea or the mountains better, you don’t have to compromise when visiting Albania. You can swim in the Caribbean blue ocean while admiring the backdrop of mountain chains. And of course, there are a lot of National parks and one of them happens to be the location where our festival takes place.

2. The cultural exchange.
We believe that there is nothing more beautiful than people from different regions coming together, celebrating in one party, sharing one vision. And what better way to learn about a new culture than traveling, connecting with people, and exchanging stories. We already had the chance to get to know the hospitality and kindness of so many Albian friends. Now we offer you the chance to gain your own experiences.
3. The challenge.
You could say that we don’t like to take the easy way and maybe that’s because we love to discover the miracles that the unknown paths hold within.
We realized quite quickly that things work differently in Albania. And as we decided to create this festival as sustainable as possible, we were facing problems we hadn’t even thought of before. But we wouldn’t be Wunder Wandel if these challenges could stop us from our goal. On the contrary we use this opportunity to explore new horizons.
4. The support.
Another goal of ours is that we want to stand for change and that we want people to give chances that they maybe didn’t have before. We integrate locals in our project and offer them a paid job and helping hand. And also by supporting the tourism in Albania you can help this country to grow and develop.
5. Our festival last year.
And finally, we’re still overwhelmed from all our memories we collected during last year’s festival.
